15th National Jamboree Arrival and Campsite Development

May 26, 2011 (Wednesday), Tacloban City Contigent arrived at Mt. Makiling, Los Banos, Laguna Campsite around 11AM. The scouts together with the scout leaders cleared the campsite,   designed for the arrangement of the tents and finally built their tents. They were prepared for the first night stay at the campsite. 





Camping is an unforgettable experience for scouter. That's leaving all life conveniences at home and prepare themselves for physical, mental, and spiritual development. These boy scouts assembling their tents and ready to sleep without comfortable bed.

Tacloban City Council Participated the 15th National Jamboree

Camp Alfred S. Romualdez, Tacloban Associate Council, Tacloban City participated the 15th National Jamboree at Mt. Makiling, Los Banos, Laguna last May 26-31, 2011. The jamboree highlighted the theme Scouts: "Building Tomorrow Today". 

Tacloban City contingent was composed of eight Boy Scouts from Sto. Nino SPED Center, eight Senior Scouts from STEFTI and five Senior Scouts from EVSU. 

Dr. Ronelo Al K. Firmo, Tacloban City Schools Division Superintendent participated the said activity and acted as contingent head of Tacloban Associate Council. Eight adult leaders actively joined the jamboree. Miguel Dumas (SNSC), Marvin Nicer (STEFTI), Paul Lora (STEFTI), Marlon Lora (EVSU), Bryan Gervacio (EVSU), Richard Brun (EVSU), Rizalita de Jesus (RCS) and Angelita Besarino (RCS).
